My First Boudoir Shoot Throwback with Cherie

I thought it’d be fun to share my first boudoir shoot. Cherie was game and I was brand spanking new to this portrait photography “thing”. So I rented a cute little studio here in Seattle and brought my DIY traveling chandelier along. Armed with my brand new camera, that was VERY different than previous cameras I set to do my best! All in all, I think I didn’t fairly well for a first go at it but boy have I grown since. Oddly enough, I wasn’t nervous on the day of, just hyper focused and anxious to see what we created. I did some research on poses and hoped I’d remember them all (this is before I became a student of posing and created my own pose book). See my favs from our session below.
